BAKED BEANS AND HOT DOGS

Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup chopped onion
• 1/2 cup ketchup
• 1/4 cup molasses
• 2 tablespoons brown sugar
• 1 tablespoon mustard
• 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
• 1 large (28 oz) and 1 small (about 16 oz) pork and beans in tomato sauce (about 40 ounces or 5 to 6 cups total)
• 6 to 8 hot dogs

Preparation:

Combine onion, ketchup, molasses, brown sugar, mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Add beans and mix well. Place in 2-quart casserole and bake at 300° for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Lay hot dogs on beans and bake 30 minutes longer. Delicious with potato salad or coleslaw and crusty bread or biscuits.
